Amazon’s NEW Alexa Remote, with shortcuts.
Another change to Amazon’s Fire TV Remote. Now comes with a redesigned Alexa Buton, a Guide button for Live TV and 4 shortcut buttons for your favorite apps!
Start streaming your favorite show instantly, without trying to find the app on the Amazon Menu. Simple press of a button. Either use the new Alexa button or a shortcut to Pime, Netflix, Disney or Hulu!
Arriving by mid April for $30, the new remote features the same layout as previous generations, that ship with the Amazon Fire TV Stick. The circular navigation pad lets you browse and select items in the interface. Home, Back, Menu, and playback controls sit below. The remote will also let you adjust the volume on most HDMI-CEC-connected TVs, soundbars or receivers. New shortcut buttons stamped with the logos of four familiar video streaming services: Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+, and Hulu.
The new Guide button directs you to channel program listings for Live TV applications like Pluto TV, Sling or Philo.
This new Alexa Voice Remote is compatible with the following Amazon Fire TV’s: 4k, Cube (1st Gen and Later), Lite, 2nd Gen and Later and 3rd Gen Pendant.
The Remote will not connect to 1st or 2nd gen Fire TV Devices, 1st gen Stick or current Fire TV Smart TVs.
