Top 5 ways to save money on streaming

We “Cut the Cable”, now pay 5-10 streaming services $10 a month.  Do you have too many service and not the budget. Check out this list of ideas to “Cut the Streaming” and still watch whatever you want.

Cutting the Cable was a great way to save money… wasnt it?  Now with all the east of subscribing to the lastest Streaming App – Prime, NetFlix, Apple TV Plus, HBO, Hulu, Disney Plus, CBS all Access, YouTube and many more… 

On Demand or Live Services, next thing you know, you are paying just as must as your old Cable bill. 

Lucky for everyone, we have a few ways to put that money back in our wallets, without much change to what we want to watch.   And dont worry, you can still watch your favorite Netflix or HBO series. 

1. Which services you can cancel

An easy step.  Figure out which services you do not watch as much.  Start with letting go of ONE of your streaming services.  If you have had Netflix for the last 10 years, you may have exhausted most of the content and just have it around for comfort… the Netflix and chill.  You many only save $10 a month, but it is a start.

2. Get an Antenna and forget about the Live TV apps

Just as easy as step number 1.  Get ride of those high priced Live Apps.  YouTube TV cost a crazy $65/month.  Hulu Plus Live TV is $55.  These are Cable and Satellite prices.  The Sling box service starts at $30.  If you have live tv streaming subscripstions, it is time to loose them.

3. Share subscriptions with family and freinds

Each streaming service has there own policies and procedures regarding shared accounts. – like recently new for Netflix – no more sharing account details or ristk of loosing your account.  If you are using a vpn and have the premium account which lets you use 5 stream simutainiously, give it a go.

Get uncle Buck to pitch in and pay for part of the service and you all can be happy!

4. Use the Free Trials

Pretty much every service has some type of Free Trail, even if it is considered a one time deal.  Jump on it, cancel your paid one and switch for the first 3 months.  You never know you may like the new service better.

Trust me Netflix or Hulu wont take your cancellation to heart.  For all you know they may started sending new deals your way once you have cancelled.  The good old bait and switch…  

5. Check out your cell phone provider

Would you like free subscriptions to Amazon, Hulu or even Netflix?  Some phone providers realease these great perks.

Step 1 – Register for an account at Surfshark by clicking HERE.
